Why I Created Called to Create

I spent years feeling a pull toward something bigger — a book, a message, a purpose — and yet I couldn’t seem to bring any of it to life.
Not because I didn’t care.
Not because I wasn’t capable.
But because no one had ever taught me how to move an idea from inspiration into reality.

I would get a spark…
feel the excitement…
start making plans…
and then one of three things always happened:

  • I’d get overwhelmed.
  • I’d question myself.
  • Or life would get busy and I’d lose momentum.

And then I’d beat myself up for not being “disciplined enough,” when really the truth was this:

I was trying to create in a way that wasn’t designed for women.

 When I finally discovered the rhythm that actually works for my creativity —
a blend of intuitive timing, structure, energy, identity work, and supportive consistency —
everything changed.
